Ceres Enters Gemini -July 31st-Dec 21st-

On July 31st the Asteroid Ceres moved into the ever curious and forever learning sign of Gemini!

Overview
The main themes of Ceres is related to cycles (particularly feminine) of loss and return, the balance of nurturing (both yourself and others), motherhood, family relationships, and the inevitable separation and the grief that can come through living life.

In Greek mythology- Ceres is most closely linked to the goddess Demeter of harvest. As the mother of Persephone- with whom she had to give away for 1/2 of the year (as her daughter took her place as goddess of the underworld)- Demeter had to face grief and the ultimate surrender in embracing their separation to make space for the growth of her daughter.

This story ultimately captures one of the main themes of Ceres- the dual nature of life and how one can be grateful and grieving at the same time. For much like a mother happy for the love gained in a new child, she can also grieve the parts of herself she must release to make space for the new change. By honoring both, she allows herself to embrace the totality of her contrasting emotions-while also gaining wisdom, empathy and a greater sense of balance moving forward.

Ultimately, this asteroid over rules the balance of maiden and mother. The balance of caring for others while also caring and nurturing yourself in the way you need it most.

Ceres in Gemini
With this force moving into the sign of Gemini which is a dual sign represented by the twins- we come to understand the dual nature of life in which two can coexist in one space. Furthermore, the sign of Gemini itself is always in a constant state of growth and movement- after all it is air sign and mirrors it’s elemental tie. As such, if we embrace the unexpected with both delight and discovery we can gather the most from our experiences.

Keeping this in mind- allow you and others to shift, don’t hold onto things that don’t interest you, and let go of anything that weighs you down or makes you feel heavy. Choose to read and interact with things that uplift and excite you. Allow yourself to play in the magic of the unknown and allow the universe to show you that both the light and darkness serve to you a more well rounded and well lived universal experience.

With that- I hope this time period allows you to move through your emotions and feelings with a renewed reverence and acceptance for the things you cannot change. The enhanced ability to focus on what you can control, as well as a deepened respect and joy for the many unexpected things gathered along the way that serve to expand you past any of your perceived limitations or biases.

Mars Moves Into Virgo- July 29th- September 14th

Today until September 14- Mars the planet of desire + drive- will be in the earthly domain of Virgo!

As a sign that values practicality, organization and orderliness
we will watch ourselves take step by step action towards making our bigger dreams true. After all, we know that reality is composed of a series of small moments woven together to create something bigger than oneself.

With that, during this time frame- remind yourself that small steps, are still steps forward to getting closer to all you envision your life and career to be. Repeat the mantra- progress over perfection- as many times as you need to keep yourself pushing forward- while also being wary of the shadow side of this sign- being overly critical or demanding of yourself and those around you.

Lastly, allow yourself to be open to surprises and differences- for there is no one right way to do things- and often times- when things don’t go according to plan- it is because you are being shown something- or something better is soon to come. With that- stay steadfast, but remain open minded to how things unfold so that you can truly take advantage of this momentum and energy while also surrendering to and trusting the divine fabric of the universe around you!

Jupiter Retrograde Moves Into Aquarius- July 28th-

Today- Jupiter retrograde- moves into the sign of Aquarius!

Highlights of this transit:
As a planet that oversees principles (morals/laws) expansion (of self, business, education), healing and fortune and it being retrograde in the sign of Aquarius (which means that the planetary aspects affect us more inwardly)- we can expect to challenge our inner programming and standards in the way we show up in life!

During this time, it will be important to ask ourselves what holds us back from expanding in the direction we see ourselves moving, both individually and collectively. We will both question and challenge our inner critique to allow ourselves to move forward, releasing anything that does not serve our expansion or healing. This will allow us to let go of and deprogram ourselves of any judgements, biases, or traumas that may have kept us or our power stuck in the past. This is because as an air sign represented by the water bearer- we will have a higher or more detached perspective of our emotional waters and inner world. This will allow us to cut through veils or the cloudiness emotions can bring with clarity and compassion.

And lastly, since Aquarius is also known as the humanitarian, we will truly begin to realize that the change we so wish to see in the world, begins with us. After all, the one thing we do have control over- is our own sovereignty.

Mercury Moves Into Leo- July 27th-August 11th-

Today Mercury, the planet of travel + communication moves into magnetic and dynamic Leo! This transit will last from today (July 27th) to (August 11th) when it will move into the sign of Virgo! What this means is that during this time period, we can expect both ourselves and others to show up more boldly in the way we communicate and in the way we move!

After all, as a fire sign, Leo is known for being both passionate and energetic! Knowing this, tap into the energy and movement of this transit by allowing yourself and those around you to shine brightly. After all, we did not come here to dim our light, but to instead share the whole totality of all that we are with those around us- with pride!

As such, to take advantage of this transit, be sure to tap into all that makes your soul light up + be sure to share that with those around you! For when you shine your brightest, you light the way for others to do the same. And lastly, like the lion or lioness that this sign is represented by, be sure to make time to connect with and be with your pride (those you love) and to also balance this work + creative force with rest! After all, even the sun does not shine for all hours of the day!

Aquarius Full Moon- July 23rd-

Tonight the sky will be lit up with a full moon in Aquarius.
Represented by the water bearer, tonight we will be able to look back on the last cycle with emotional clarity. This is because as an air sign, Aquarius have the ability to look at things from a higher + lighter perspective- which allows them to often times be less bogged down by the emotional or physical heaviness of this planet.

With that, the themes of tonight’s moon will relate to release and the recognition of the ways in which our emotions may have tied us down or left us contained in the past. By accepting and understanding our emotions and deep inner role in this play- we allow ourselves the freedom to let go and truly step up and show up into the world authentically. This radical form of self acceptance allows us the space to recognize the ways in which we show up affects others and how we want to proceed going forward into the future. (After all, Aquarius is also known as the humanitarian)

Furthermore, as a sign ruled by Uranus, the planet of rebellion and rules (or the exploration of breaking them) we can expect to challenge the past and move forward more eccentrically. We will be less defined by what society expects of us- and more likely to create our rules for living ourselves. After all, we are powerful co-creators in our reality- so tonight- ask yourself what it is that you would like to create and see in this world, then show up as that.

And finally, watch out for the shadow side of this sign, which is- in being a fixed sign (and especially with it being Leo season a sign ruled by the sun which represents our ego) remember to be open to the differences and opinions of others, since it can help you create a more well-rounded and empathetic perception of the world around you.

Leo Season- July 22nd-August 22nd-

Happy Leo season! ✨
Today until August 22nd the sun will be entering its favorite sign and shining in the vibrant and confident sign of Leo! As a fire sign, we can expect our being to energize and light the world around us! After all, with the deep inner work and clearing done in Cancer season, we have a lot to be proud of and a lot to share to those around us! With that- remember to be unapologetic in your roar and allow yourself to light the way- both for yourself and others! Be authentically and unforgettably you!

As always though, remember to be aware of the shadow side of this sign- and watch out for being overly led by your ego + most importantly, remember that there is room for everyone to shine!

Overall- Be creative, have fun, and don’t be afraid to just laze around and soak up the sun- after all, much like the lion that represents this sign, it is important to balance work and pride with play, family + love!

Venus Enters Virgo - July 21st- August 16th-

Venus, the planet of love, moves into the Earthy sign of Virgo today until August 16th! As a sign that favors commitment, dedication and harmony, we can expect to be upfront and honest about the things that matter to us most in regards to love! So whether this is expressing the ways we best receive love, or the ways in which we feel most supported- speak your truth, but be sure to express this with love and with patience!

If and when running into conflict or differences between you and someone you love remember to be open minded and accepting, as your way of seeing or thinking may not be what is true/best for all.

With that, I hope this time period brings you into a clearer state of acceptance and unconditional love in the realization that there is beauty in the imperfect, humanness of life and those around you! May we all refine and improve our communication and relationships in a way that best honors the differences in what makes us, us and connects our hearts to one another.

Vesta Moves Into Libra -July 19th-Sept 20th-

Yesterday, July 19th, Vesta- the asteroid that overrules the divine feminine flame of creation, devotion and drive- moved from diplomatic and progressive Virgo into the feminine, loving sign of Libra. This transit will occur until September 20th!

What this means is that the hard earned pursuits of self that you have been working on recently- will also be balanced with the awareness that what you do- also affects the lives and beings of all around you. after all, we are all interconnected and the inner work we all do becomes reflected in the outer world around us. This is especially important as this is a collective world, essentially a collaborative project- created by, maintained by and made by all of us as individuals acting as one and as a whole.

With that, this time period will ultimately highlight and emphasize the need to balance one’s own pursuits with others, but to remember to maintain your own sacred space while doing so- as it is not necessary for you to sacrifice self as a martyr to maintain the peace and order of all around you. After all, there is beauty and balance in the many different ways we all show up.

Chiron Retrograde- July 15th-December 19th- 2021

Today Chiron, the wounded healer, goes retrograde in the sign of Aries. As the first sign of the zodiac, it will be a time to explore how we may hold ourselves and our dynamic, sacred energy back + the ways in which we would like to move forward.

Chiron is considered a “centaur” meaning it has aspects of both asteroids and comets. It ultimately represents the wounded part of us that we have come to heal. So whether this is through past life trauma or painful experiences we have encountered in this lifetime- this will be a time to connect with the space of infinite love within us and truly heal. With it going retrograde, it’s planetary impacts will be emphasized within, as such, this will be a powerful time to clear out and release any parts of our selves that hold onto shame or fear.

Some important questions to ask yourself during this cycle are:

In what ways do I push away others or potentially self sabotage myself? + Why/When do I do this?
What parts of myself do I hide away or am I ashamed of? What am I afraid of?
What triggers fear, anxiety or stress in me? How can I focus on what I can control or shift this energy?

Remember that you are a co-creator in this life. You have the ability and power to reshape your life, your perspective on your past, and how you approach situations within you. For we are our own best healers- after all, we know ourselves- the best.
From this curious and loving space- practice patience- allow yourself to feel and allow yourself to discover new ways to approach the parts of yourself that require the most softness! And remember, you and the child within, deserve this- always.

Pallas Retrograde -July 14th-November 8th-

Pallas, an asteroid named after the Greek goddess Athena will be going retrograde in the watery sign of Pisces today. As an asteroid that symbolizes the aspects related to our wisdom, drive (or energetic efforts) towards things related to intelligence, arts and healing, we can expect a dreamier and more intuitive/emotional approach to all the matters above. With it going retrograde, it will be a time to slow down and go inward. A time to truly tune in and analyze the ways in which we connect to our divine wisdom in order to express ourselves and our will. With that, during this time span, some important questions to ponder on and explore within yourself are:

1. In what ways can you use your creative intelligence to empower yourself and improve your life?
2. What patterns or cycles related to expression/effort can you release or let go of moving forward?
3. How can you channel the depths of the unknown and other dimensions in order to bring light to the present now?
