Mercury, the planet of communication and technology, goes into its final retrograde of the year in the sign of Libra from today until it goes direct again on October 18th! Prior to this, we have experienced 2 other Mercury retrogrades this year in the other 2 airs signs of Aquarius and Gemini! 

For those of you who are new to astrology, when a planet goes retrograde, it simply means that it appears to be going backwards when viewed from Earth! Spiritually, the aspects of that planet are then moved inward, rather than expressed outward. 

With Mercury being retrograde in the sign of Libra, a sign that oversees things like justice, equality, balance and harmony- we may be focusing on areas in our life that may need adjustment. And as the sign that oversees the 7th house (the sign of partnerships) this will especially be focused on our relationships with others + the balance of how much we give and take!

With that, important questions to help you guide yourself through this alignment are :
1. How can I communicate in a way that honors myself as well as others? 
2. In what ways can I create more harmony within myself, my life and with my interactions with others? 
3. How can I trust and surrender into the flow of the universe more? In what areas of my life am I forcing rather than flowing? 

Lastly, as a sign that often struggles with indecisiveness, allow yourself to ponder on any decisions you need to make during this time! Although it is okay to discuss and reflect with others, always be sure to listen to and follow your own wisdom first and foremost! What to expect + keep in mind when Mercury goes retrograde:
1. Technology or travel slowdowns or issues - practice patience and know that it is an opportunity for you to lean into your faith of the universe who often works in ways beyond what our ego can understand! 
2. Communication errors or misunderstandings- this allows you to learn to better listen, adjust and learn new ways to express yourself! Be sure to ask many questions and clarify before assuming or reacting.
3. If something isn’t flowing- don’t force it! Take a step back, recollect yourself then allow the universe to surprise you! Sometimes the best solutions come when you allow things to just be what they are.
4. Allow things to flow at their pace- this is the divine path of life and allowing yourself to rest in its rhythm will often reduce a lot of the stress and anxiety that comes with trying to guess or stress about what comes next! Allow yourself to rest + relax knowing that the universe is looking out for your highest good and learning always!

As the last sign of the zodiac and tonight being a full moon- it will be a magical + emotional time of endings and new beginnings. As a water sign, Pisces is highly intuitive and sensitive. Perhaps they understand and know that maintaining and protecting this childlike innocence within, is what  gives us all the strength and energy to keep moving forward. Today, September 10th, the planet of love, Venus, moves into spicy + passionate Scorpio until October 7th. Prior to this, Venus was in the harmonious air sign of Libra and as we shift into the watery depths of Scorpio, love + our expressions of it will be both deeper and darker!

Happy New Moon in Virgo all you beautiful babes!
I know that the days leading up to this moon may have been tiring, and possibly even downright exhausting! (I know I have been tired and using my time to tune inward these past few days).

This is because as a collective we are going through a major solar flare- aka A LOT of light energy is penetrating Earth’s atmosphere- which spiritually allows us to shed love and light upon any stagnant or dark energy we may be holding onto. What it also does is allow us to go inward, rest, and really feel into our own energetic state- as well as anything we may be holding onto the past that has led us into this present moment, here now!

With that, tonight’s new moon (traditionally known as a a time of new beginnings + working towards what is to come) is in the maidenly sign of Earthly Virgo. As a sign that upholds refinement + dedication to self + others, it is an amazing moon to tune in and see what is working + to also be honest with what isn’t! After all, we are all on a lifelong journey home, and the process of being and becoming is just as important as any destination or dreams we desire to come true! With that, I invite you to spend some time with Mother Earth, celebrate and see the ways you have grown, plant new intentions, and create, plan and reorganize as needed! So, some questions to ask yourself today to gain some clarity are:

Cheers to a new month angels! We’ve made it! 
As the end of summer approaches and the feeling of fall fills the air, we harvest + celebrate all that we have planted thus far. We also recognize + realize that letting go, creates space for us to truly extend ourselves and blossom. We realize that losing parts of ourselves, is actually essential to moving forward, and growing, larger, and brighter than ever before!
