Cancer New Moon Ritual

Ritual 1: Enchanting, Programming, and Receiving the Magic of Water
​Fill 2 bowls with water, add amethyst in the left and quartz in the right P.S. you are welcome to add any water safe crystal for this ritual, just follow your intuition and honor feels right for you!
Allow your fingers to rest in the bowl, one hand in each, after all your hands are powerful energy vortexes, your left hand is a receiver and your right hand is a giver of energy.
In your left hand allow yourself to receive the magic and wisdom programmed within the water, allow it to tell you stories and downloads you are ready to receive here now- repeat the following mantra out loud, remember and tune into the power of your voice: I receive all of my ancestral and past life wisdom and magic, I allow this knowing to flow into my body through my fingertips like water, here now. I integrate this knowing into my body, my heart and my mind. I am ready and open to receiving. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Then, with your right hand, imagine what it is you want to create, embody, and release in this next cycle into your life and into the world, allow the energy to flow through you and enchant and program the water with all of your healing, your intentions, your light, your magic, your knowledge, your awareness, your power. Repeat the following affirmation out loud: I program this water with the magic and essence of my entire being. I allow the energy of my light, soul and heart to shine and be instilled into the vast , transformative, nurturing, depth and space of this water. I am ready to shine. I am ready to feel. I am ready to be. I am ready to flow. I am ready to release. I am ready to renew. I am ready to create. I am ready to live the life of my dreams and embody my divine birthright and purpose here on Earth with the world.
Allow yourself to rest and enjoy the magic of this precious moment for as long as you need. Feel and fill this circle of energy, both bowls of water, your body, your mind, this space, this universe in and around you with love, grace, and joy. In her clearing waters, allow her to also take away and wash away anything that no longer serves you moving forward. Allow the enchantments and intentions to flow through your fingertips, through your hands, your body, your mind like water. Thank her, the divine feminine, and your highest self for her life changing and life giving energies.
When you are ready, take out both hands from the water. Wipe the residual drops onto your chakras, your heart, your entire body or wherever you feel called to anoint.
Afterwards, pour both bowls into the Earth to take and transmute all the energies into her and your highest good and the highest good of all.

Ritual 2: Capturing and Channeling the Moon’s Essence
Bottle up water with the same crystals used in the previous spell in them or by them. Allow them to be charged in the light of the moon. Use this water throughout the month (as spray, to drink, in your baths) to remind yourself and reinforce this ritual and energy further and deeper into your being.

Ritual 3: Using Your Divine Voice and Calling in Clarity
Write an intention to connect to in your dreams. Keep it under your pillow - allow yourself to be receptive, open and receive. Read it out loud every night before bed. Remember that Cancer is linked to the moon, as such dream work and any intuition or psychic work connecting to the astral and your subconscious is incredibly potent and supported during this time. Take advantage of it and use it to your empowerment!

Ritual 4: Honoring the Inner Child and Being a Divine Mother, Partner and Friend
Play, flow, feel, be- love yourself, be kind to yourself, nurture yourself and treat yourself as you would a lover, a child, a partner. Be your best parent, friend, lover. Be what you needed when you were younger and be what you need now. Since Cancer is highly connected to the divine feminine mother and the inner child, slow down, tune in, and give yourself and the world what you feel it needs most. Trust what comes through- don’t question, filter, or hold yourself or your magic back. Know that you and your specific embodiment and signature are needed in your highest love, happiness, faith, and energy now more than ever.

Ritual 5: Connecting to the Divine Feminine
​Journal, write, dance, create, dream. Read oracle and tarot cards. Connect to the dreamier, witchier, flowing and feminine parts and aspects of life, your nature, and your being! Embrace what comes through and allow yourself to integrate the messages and channeling that speak through your heart, mind, body and soul into the rest of this month with faith, support and love.

​Tonight is the night of the Cancer New Moon. Combined with and amplified by the sun in Cancer until July 21st, this alignment brings in a tidal wave of change, surrender and flow. As a feminine sign- this placement highlights the divine feminine in all her beauty, magic, power, wisdom, wrath, and rage- coming in to clear all that no longer serves us, individually and collectively- and replacing it instead with all that supports us, nurtures us, and honors us moving forward.

With both the sun which rules our consciousness and outer exterior or sense of self, and the moon which rules our subconscious, and inner feelings being in the element of water- it brings in energies that will wash away the pains of the past. This powerful and rejuvenating energy brings up feelings that are coming up to be felt, loved, and released, in the light and shows us the dreams that come from deep within our hearts, our souls, and our bodies that are arising to be dreamed into consciousness and being.

If you are someone who is used to things being definitive, clear and structured, this time may be challenging and confronting for you. After all, it will ask you to face the feminine within you who is guided by the wind, is wild as the water, and is as free and unrestricted as the birds that dance, sing and fly above us.

Allowing yourself to surrender into this deep unknown, trusting that it will take you to where you truly wish to go and be- will allow yourself to fully let go, to release an exhale of all the past pains, sorrows, stress, and worries that plague you or bring you down and replace it with a fresh and renewed sense of being, self and awareness. In releasing all of this, once and for all, we are free to float atop of the abyss, the life giving, life taking and life nurturing ocean, its shallows, and its depths that both fills us up, surrounds us, removes all that needs to go, holds us up, and guides us to where we will go from here- one step and one present moment at a time.

As a sign ruled by the crab, a devoted, loyal defender and protector- tonight’s moon will also ask you to rest, breathe and receive. It will ask you to surrender into the flow, and to believe in the the greater scheme of it all, trusting that what is coming through now is guiding you to live a life more aligned to you, the divine feminine, Mother Earth, your cycles, and your soul’s deepest dreams.

Building off of this, this alignment will also ask you to look at the ways in which you can protect the softer move vulnerable parts of you with love, discernment, feeling, intuition, clarity and devotion. After all, although the crab has a hard and fierce exterior, inside, it is soft and tender, like the skin and being of a newborn baby.

With that, today and tonight is a powerful day to do dream work, to plant new seeds, to dance, to sing, to think about what you would like to create in this next cycle, and to finally, once and for all thank the journey that has swept you to where you are today. In doing, moving, and going through so much- we often forget just how much we have actually learned, let go of and gained- to be who we are today and where we are today.

Finally, don’t forget to express gratitude for all you have been, learned, let go of and gained. You would not be who you are with the perspective that you have without it all, the good, the bad, the pretty, the ugly, the loving, the hating, the light, and the dark. With it all around and within you- you are gifted with a greater and more whole understanding as to where you would like to go from here. So ask yourself- what is it that you would like to call in, create, be and feel in this next cycle- moment by moment- thought by thought- action by action?

So, here’s to celebrating us- celebrating life- celebrating love- and to confronting our dreams and our pains with clarity and acceptance- and to living a life that we came here to live- regardless of what it looks like to others- regardless of what others say, regardless of what others do, and regardless of what others think!

You are here to be your best you! So allow yourself to be the you- you know yourself to be- and be here with all of that- now.

A glimpse into my ritual 1- as a woman who is now on the new moon cycle- or white moon cycle- I integrated my womb, blood work and sacred DNA into this ritual further connecting to my divinity, power, and strength as a sovereign and divine woman.
