New Moon In Leo

This moon asks us to think about what makes us full of light- and full of pride? What is worth protecting? What makes life shine and what is worth making a roar about?

With a new moon in Leo during Leo season, this is the time of the year to create from a place so full of love and hope it beams out of your shining face and entire being with pure, unapologetic and thankful joy!

When we all shine our light- we do not allow people’s energies to dim ours. Nor do we allow shadows of others or ourselves to overtake the childlike and proud being within!

How do we get to feeling like this?
Light like this comes when you back yourself. Fully. Lovingly. Loudly. It’s when you dare to be bold. Dare to be you. Despite what others may say or what you have been told. It’s when you trust and honor your inner knowing above all and it is when you let your authentic voice roar- allowing yourself to be brilliant, celebrated and seen!

​So what are you waiting for? The time is now- set the stage and let your soul shine! The world is waiting- for you to be fully you!

Ritual for New Moon in Leo

• Commit to a new structure, role, goal or ritual- ask yourself what actions can you take daily, weekly, monthly to align yourself closer to the life you dream of? Be honest- and intentional with your time, energy and wishes!
• Set intentions- speak them powerfully daily and with pride and joy to enhance its power. Your throat chakra is a powerful center for creation and manifestation- use it!
• Clean and rearrange your space- this will help to clear and move old energy out, while also inviting new and refreshing energies in. Keeping your space light and clear is one way to keep the energy flowing and bright!
• Spend time in the sun- let it remind you of just how naturally brilliant and abundant you are. Allow you and things you wish for to rest and grow underneath its shining and consistent love and let it inspire you with how it shines and rises for each new day!
• Love on yourself! Since Leo is all about affection and grandiose ideas, pump yourself up! Write a love letter to yourself, tell yourself how amazing you are! Dress up! Fulfill your own pleasures! Remember how you talk to and treat yourself is the baseline for all other things- get clear on what you desire, love and need to feel fulfilled
• Bring in the color yellow, orange and red- linked to your solar plexus, sacral chakra and root chakra this will enhance your inner confidence, security and direction and fuel your soul forward in your day to day interactions, your connections and relationships.
• Journal- write down and be clear on what you are calling in! How do you want to feel? What do you want to experience? What do you want to do! Be sure to also take some time to express gratitude for what is going well and to also celebrate all you have done!
• Spend time with family, friends and your community! After all, a lion is nothing without its pride. 😉

New moons are a time of new beginnings.
A time to set intentions, to grow, to celebrate, to reflect, to plan and to nurture what you want to grow in the cycle to come.

With the dark illuminating all our light and magic inside and the shining sun of Leo above us all we will all move more intentionally and vivaciously from this point forward. After all, in the darkest environments, what shines brightly shines all the brighter. And when you’re growing up and living in times with things like new diseases, unsustainable business practices, unhealthy and disconnected peoples- there’s plenty to shine light upon!

When reflecting on why we are here- remember that this moment is your life, what story do you want to tell? What kind of world do you want to see and live in and what kind of world do you want to create for those to come?

In being the author of your story, what new actions, spaces, and places would you its main character make? What will it take to create the world you dream of and envision?
How will it come to be and what will it look like, feel like?
Individually, when we dare to shine and go after what we came here to do, be and feel- this creates echoes and mass changes in the collective far beyond what we can even fathom, see or know now. Each one of us is so important and crucial to it all- so step up, embody and believe in your light.

From here on out, dare to fill the room and space with your energy. Stop shrinking back and staying small. Trust that you are the portal for a new world to shine brighter and be seen through. You may trigger some people- but that’s nothing new. If you stand out amongst people who are all the same, who do things the way they’ve always done, or judge or shame you- GOOD! Shine brighter! It’s what you came here to do.
