Overview of a new moon
Traditionally, new moons were seen as a symbol of new beginnings- a time when the sky appears at its darkest as we begin something new- both in nature and as a collective! For like the moon that mirrors us in the sky above, we too have cycles of growth, reflection and rest in order to ground all of the lessons and experiences we have gathered thus far. A time to take inventory of all the people, places and things that have gotten us to this moment- both light and shadow aspects- so that we can truly tap in- and think about and align with what we would like to continue build or gather moving forward.

​With the new moon being in the sign of creative and confident Leo- a fire sign- this moon will bring about a time for us to think about how we show up in this world. A time to think about what makes your heart glow and your light shine and a time to let go of and release anything that dulls that shine. After all, Leo’s are known for brilliantly beaming in their own divine and unique light! With that- to take advantage of this transit in the cosmos, step into your god given gifts, open your heart, mind and body to the energy around you and back yourself! Release whatever fears or past traumas may be dimming or taking away from your light and trust in the universe- by jumping into the depths of all of your light.
