Taurus Season April 19th-May 20th

Hello beautiful souls!  ☀ I hope Aries season has treated you well!  ☀
I know for myself, I took the season to regroup, reconnect with myself and release many things that I did not realize I have been carrying!

After all, Aries season is the first sign in the astrological calendar, so it is very common for emotions and triggers related to our early childhood to reappear! As I found myself, instead of fighting these feelings, the best thing we can do to support both ourselves and our inner child is to show compassion and love (even when it is hardest).

And although it can be tough at times, it has also been incredibly rewarding. By having the strength to face our deepest fears and triggers, we are rewarded with a shifted perspective and ability to hold greater space for our own cycles, the "mistakes" we make, and the coping mechanisms we have picked up on a more compassionate and loving level. With that, I look forward to moving forward with more self-love, patience and understanding of what I need for and from myself, my inner child and those around me as we continue to co-create this journey called life together!

So without further ado, I am beyond excited for the start of Taurus season which will run today until Gemini season starts on May 21! Personally, I am psyched for Taurus season, although I may be a little biased because I am a Taurus sun! ;) But with sunshine, blooming flowers, and a bright blue sky, what's not to love? 

Speaking of stability, much like a rock, we identify heavily with the Earth, and surety. Represented by the bull, we are slow and steadfast in our direction, however rock (hehe) the boat too much and you'll be surprised by the sheer force we can snap and run you down! 

With that I wanted to cover both light and shadow aspects to be aware of and take take advantage of for the upcoming Taurus season such as:

With the light we can expect:

• a stronger connection to mama Earth
  • Spend time soaking up the sun and connecting your bare feet to the ground, this will help you ground your dreams and approach any fears or triggers you may run into with a clearer vision + an open heart! 
• a need and desire to spend more time enjoying the simple things in life! 
  • As a sign ruled by Venus (the planet of love), take the time to romanticize your life and figure out what love language fills up your love tank! (then show up for yourself in that way! )
• to move slower and more intentionally.
  • Taureans hate being rushed. They know that taking the time to be clear and invest in the things they want matters! As such, be sure to be mindful and meaningful in the contracts and connections you nurture, establish and create in your life!
• to enjoy life through our senses
  • As a sign highly connected to their body, Taureans love all things they can experience through the senses like music, aromatherapy, oil massages, and more! So be sure to treat yourself and love on yourself! You have done so much internal work thus far, so take the time to celebrate your body and all it has carried and brought you through! Rest you'll find out (if you have not already) is equally as important as doing the work! Sometimes giving yourself rest, is the work (especially in a society that pushes, takes, and demands so much!)
• a steadfastness in our being and soul.
  • Take advantage of this energy by tapping into what matters to you, don't allow others to sway you from your truth! By stepping into this space, we empower others to do the same!
• a stronger connection to our body
  • Take the time to work out and also move in new and creative ways! This will help you keep freshness to your life! After all, it's important to include flexibility in routine! ;)

With the shadow watch out for...

• being too stuck in your routine- be open and flexible to change and spontaneity!
  • Although it is good to have things that matter to you, watch out that your ego isn't forcing or upkeeping a routine, narrative or idea that is not possible, sustainable, true or grounded in your current values/beliefs! The best way to eliminate this is to respond from a place of love- and if you can't, take the time you need to clear your head. Re-approach the situation when you are ready!
• snapping at people and bulldozing your will over others!
  
  • Pause and allow others to speak and explain before imposing a judgement or bias on them based on feelings/reactions! Listen.
    

And finally, Taureans can be loyal to a fault (if not careful) as such, be sure to assess anything you commit your time and energy to. Not everything deserves your focus! And above all us, putting time and energy into yourself, never fails. Remember there is no point being loyal to anything that does not serve your highest good. Be brave enough to let go of the things that hold you back, and have the courage to chase after the things and people that allow you the space to be your freest, most loving and authentic self.
