Venus Retrograde In Capricorn-Chiron Goes Direct- Dec 19th-

Yesterday was another big day in astrology! Venus, the planet that rules love and relationships, moved retrograde in the straight forward sign of Capricorn! + When a planet goes retrograde, the energies of that planet simply moves more inward (rather than outward). What this means for us, is that from December 19th until January 29th, we will be looking inward, reflecting on our journey in both self love, and love with others. We recognize how the two may be intrinsically linked and how working on one- often influences the other. As the end of the year fast approaches us, endings and beginnings are all around us. We recognize we have gained another year of experience, and that we have also gained wisdom that we will continue to integrate into the fabrics of our lives in the year to come. With that, this time will be a crucial time to be up front and honest about what makes you feel loved, and feel like love.

As an Earth sign, Capricorn is known for being grounded and clear. It makes us look at our relationships objectively and at what is or isn’t working. It also gives us a steady and firm hand when communicating to others with matters of love. After all, Capricorns have a higher vision they can easily tap into to recognize areas where they may refine and revise to have a more stable environment moving forward. With that, have fun and keep these serious conversations light! Your relationship with self and others is an ever changing and ever fluid container for growth! Your needs and their needs may change with time. So, allow space to learn, make mistakes, try again, and grow! Finally, with Chiron, the wounded healer, going direct after being retrograde since July 15th, this transit further emphasizes the energy brought in by Venus in Capricorn. We know that a healthy love requires boundaries, understanding, compassion, patience, communication, and trust. It requires hope and courage- and the ability to hold great space. Mistakes or misunderstandings may happen, but used effectively, they only serve to further your lessons, concrete your communication and guide your growth.

So, during this time, remember that you are love and tap into this space often. Take the time to slow down, tune in, then respond from a place of love.
