Women of Earth- Taurus

Today marks the last day of Taurus season (AKA my season). And as a Taurus sun myself, I can say that my season is one of my favorites. After all, it’s a time of change, new beginnings, and growth! 🌿 With spring blooming all throughout Taurus season, it reminds us that life happens quickly, so it is up to us to be here now- open to the magical beginnings and endings of the present now!

​With that, I am so proud to say I finished my goal of painting my Taurus Goddess today- and I couldn’t be more proud 🥺 Painting has not always come easy to me, in fact it’s something I’ve always wanted to do- but would often time stop- my mind telling me I’m not good enough- that I don’t have enough time, that I need to start over- but with each painting I show my mind and myself- just how creative and capable I am! Especially combined with patience, compassion, time and perseverance 😉.

Finishing Taurus means I am officially 1/3rd of the way done with painting my Zodiac Goddess Series. Taurus after all marks my 4th. The first, was Cancer during the start of COVID. Leo after- during the Summer (and completed the following Summer in 2021 😂). Then, Virgo was completed in one day, a day after Leo! (Somehow I haven’t painted any air signs yet- so I’m excited to familiarize myself with this energy more).

Now, at 2022, a year later, I’m also realizing just how important it is to honor my life, my feelings and my creative cycles, while also pushing myself just enough to expand past my comfort zone and the limitations of my mind! I told myself that I wanted to finish my Taurus painting, before the end of the season. I decided I wanted to take my time, step by step, not rushing. After all, as a sign ruled by Earth, I wanted to remember that nature does not rush- yet everything gets done.
Though I’m not going to lie, I did get a tad bit stressed a few days ago, looking at how much I have left, but just like our great mother, I FUCKING DID IT!!!!!! And look how pretty she is. 🌸

So perhaps that’s a huge lesson Taurus shows us. With love, patience and dedication- we can do amazing things. We can defy all odds,letting go of so much that holds us back, while stepping into all of our power, our light, and our bloom!
Like a tree, we strengthen our roots and our understanding of life and ourselves, while still reaching towards trying new ways to express and learn even more! And much like a flower, may you remember to expand your garden, and to not compare yourself to another’s bloom- but to rather admire them, and grow alongside them- in doing so creating even more beauty in growing beside one another.

With that, tomorrow marks the start of Gemini season! As always, I will be posting an overview on this season- its shadow and its light, as well as ways we can expand upon these energies to make the most of our time! With that, I will also begin painting twins, which Gemini represents, and I am so excited for! (I have never painted two women next to one another before) So stay tuned and keep an eye out for tomorrow! 💖
