Located below here will be mini descriptions of the items I have already checked off my bucket list! Unfortunately some of these photos are not mine, since I lost most of mine when I had to get a new phone! As such, I'm definitely going to go to some of these places again so that I can share my own personal experience and memories here with you all!
1. Horse back riding in Payson with Alex
(2018)
I surprised Alex with sunset horseback riding in Payson and the desert scenery was beautiful! Prior to going, I was hoping for a white horse and ended up paired up with the only white horse there. Alex, on the other hand, ended up riding two horses. His first horse was really agitated almost. It actually ended up riding away from the rest of the group with Alex on him. As I watched Alex disappear beyond the curb and some shrubs all I could think about was how we both said no to the optional helmets. The guide ended up having to go after him. After that, he switched Alex horses. His saddle the rest of the way ended up being a little crooked, so when you look at pictures and videos I took, we realized just how slanted he actually was which was funny. Overall though, we had a great time and I would love to go horse back riding through the forest or the beach next! |
2. Lake Powell, AZ
(May 2020)
I went to Lake Powell for the first time on a houseboat! We spent 2 nights and slept under the stars. It was the first time I saw the milky way. I didn't know the sky could look like that. I didn't take too many photos the first trip since I had no service and my phone was dead about 80% of the time! But it is such a magical place and I definitely recommend people going to see Lake Powell if they get the chance!

6. Stay in a hotel with a city view
(December 26th 2019)
My Christmas present from Alex; we stayed at the Viceroy in Chicago!
It was so pretty. I got to knock off deep dish pizza off my bucket list also on this trip since Lou Malnati's Pizza was right next door! I got it for dinner and was SO tempted to get it the next day too (I didn't) but that's a testament to how delicious it is!

9. Devil's bridge
(2018)
Alex, Justine (my childhood best friend) and I went all together for the first time. It's not too hard of a hike but can get crowded!
The actual bridge itself is a lot wider than it appears to be in pictures (so you don't have to be too afraid of falling off the edges). It's cool to experience once, but I don't know if I would go more than that!
You have to wait in line for the famous bridge picture (we went early morning/afternoon during the weekend) and I definitely (personally) like and connect to some of the other spots in Sedona a bit more!

13. Sleep under the stars
(May 2020)
In Page, AZ it was so beautiful and I could see the milky way. We were super fortunate because the moon was not showing at all in the sky. The only light lighting the sky above us were the stars and the amount of shooting stars I saw was insane! It made me remember growing up in Washington and always looking up at the sky at night.

15. Music Festival
(October 2017)
My first music festival was Goldrush 2017. Since then I have gone to a few more concerts like Deadbeats 420, Slander and Zhu! Since going, I have discovered that I absolutely adore dressing up, dancing and letting the music flow through me. As such, I can't wait for my next musical concert experience! It is crazy how much sound can influence you. It touches deep within you with its chords and helps you release and renew yourself! Connecting with/through music is one of my favorite ways of tapping into my divine feminine energy and channeling that energy through my body! |
16. Snorkeling
(February 2022]
Drea took me to Hawaii! And it was an absolute dream come true! In Kona, there is a place called 2 step where you can just step in and dive! It was so much fun to get out of my comfort zone and allow myself to explore and play in the water! We spent hours and so many of our days out there and I can’t wait to go back in the water sometime soon! It definitely awakened my energy and love for exploration and adventure on a deeper level and also enhanced my trust and faith in the universe to both look out and push me- just enough. Looking back, I am also so grateful that I am such a strong swimmer (I saw, competitively from 3rd-11th grade) and that running (track and cross country) growing up gave me the ability to practice my breath work and finding my flow! I got to about 15~20 ft deep with just a snorkel, goggles and fins. My ears need practice equalizing but I definitely have a good teacher and buddy in my best friend and lover Pandi. ✨💖 |
17. Chicago Deep Dish Pizza
(December 26, 2019)
Alex took me to eat at Lou Malnati's and it was delicious. I got the personal sized pizza and got the Malnati Chicago Classic! I then ate deep dish again on New Year's with his family as well. Definitely one of my favorite pizzas ever!

21. "Shower" in a waterfall
(2018)
I was able to check this off at Fossil Creek in Arizona! It was so gorgeous. It's a pretty amazing spot because you can cliff jump and go behind the waterfall! There's a small little cavern like area behind it with stunningly clear, turquoise water! I definitely would love to go back and play here again! It reminds me of H2O/mermaids for sure.

29. Hot Yoga
(2016)
The first time I went to hot yoga I made a huge mistake. For some reason the online schedule was different than the actual schedule. As such, instead of showing up for a beginner yoga, I showed up for a HIIT yoga which included dumb bells. I thought I was going to pass out. The 50 year old man who seemed to know the instructor/everyone else was kicking my ass. I got through it, barely. But I did feel good after! It feels great to sweat and release and move! Although the next time I went, I made sure I went to a slower paced class so I could actually connect and consciously think about my breath/movements! I also think the heat definitely makes you more flexible and relaxed! |
32. Hawaii
(February 2022)
Hawaii was an absolute dream come true. She was so familiar, warm and welcoming to me. She was everything I’ve ever dreamed of and more and I cannot wait to go back to see and receive her in all of her divine magic and loving radiance! 36. Spa & Resort Day
(05.2021)
For my birthday, my baby Alex got me a facial at a spa in Northern Scottsdale. It felt so nice to just sit back and relax, and I felt so taken care of by the woman doing it (she was Japanese and reminded me a bit of my mother).
The place itself also had a lot of Native and zen influences which made it very rejuvenating and homey for me!

38. paddleboard
(2018)
When Alex and I visited my family in San Diego my mom took us paddle boarding for the first time! It's actually such a great work out and kills your arms!

42. Pole Dancing class
(2017)
At Purple Rain
Since my first class, Lindsi (my roomie) and I actually got a pole of our own! We had it up in our old apartment and got to practice a lot. I even got an upside down leg only spin down!
Unfortunately, in our new apartment, the ceilings are a lot higher so our old pole didn't fit. But it's been nice to explore something (pole) that I have wanted to do since middle school when I watched Jenyne Butterfly perform to Florence & The Machine "The Dog Days are Over".

45. 5 star hotel
(December 26th, 2019)
I did a 2 in one for my bucket list!
I stayed in a hotel with a city view, and it was 5 stars (Viceroy Hotel) with Alex for Christmas. Chicago is always super pretty at Christmas so it was nice to be in the city for it!

48. Floatology
(2018)
54. Redwood Trees
(2015)
My family & I have road tripped a lot growing up and I've been lucky enough to see the Redwood trees a couple times. There's a special kind of magic amongst these giant trees and the forest ground is soft and padded underneath your feet. It makes you feel like a small pixie floating around the forest.
55. Visit a lavender field (Door County)
(2019)
My boyfriend Alex's parents own a house in Fish Creek.
As such we get to go up there and get away while I am there in Wisconsin!

57. BECOME A TEACHER
(August 2019)
I currently teach 6th-8th grade English!
It is my 2nd year teaching already! Time has been flying by so fast and so much has changed and is still changing. After being online the last quarter of the 2019 school year last year and the first quarter of the 2020 school year, we're officially going back to school after fall break. October 12th will be our first day back and I am excited to see the students I had last year, as well as my new 6th graders in person finally! I think it will be a good change of pace and allow for myself to better structure and balance my life!

58. GRADUATE FROM A BIG UNIVERSITY
(May 2019)
Forks up! I have always wanted to graduate from a large university and I was able to fulfill that dream by going to ASU. Moving from Wisconsin to Arizona changed and shaped me in so many ways and I am so thankful I have gone through the ups and downs that I have to be where I am today! Looking at this picture honestly makes me almost feel like I'm looking at someone else, the person in this picture had no idea all the things I'd do, see, and be by this point, and it's crazy! This picture was taken about three years ago now and life has definitely been a crazy adventure since then. I can't even begin to imagine what my life will be like three years from now (I would have never imagined some of the things I've been through, both good and bad), but I cannot wait to continue going along for the ride and see where it takes me. Overall, through the good times and even the bad times, this life has been magic. |
77. Crystal Wrap
(2020)
This past year I ordered all the supplies I needed for crystal wrapping off Amazon! I also got a few items at Michael's and the crystals from local crystal shops here in Phoenix. I started playing around with a few shapes! It's definitely going to take time to master and figure out how to do but it's a fun new creative avenue for me to try that I am super excited about. I would love to get to the point that I can sell my wrapped crystals on my Etsy store!
(2022) update- I finally feel confident in putting myself out there and selling my crystal wrapped pendants. With that, keep an eye out on my Sister Store REA Crystals for my newest releases which will be charged and enhanced by the magic of the New and Full moon.

81. Walk through a Field of Sunflowers
88. karaoke Bar
(2019)
I went to Blind Dragon with Lindsi and Imani. We screeched to songs like "Party in the USA" and "Toxic" horribly but it set the stage for a fun girl's night out. I've only been once (I'm not someone who goes out a lot) but like a lot of places in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona, it's been since closed down!
89. Drink out of a coconut
(March 2022)
We stumbled upon many a coconut trees while in Hawaii. While camping, we had a machete and decided to crack one open. It was a lot harder to break open than we thought, and there’s a lot less juice than you think too. But overall, my god is it delicious, and there’s nothing quite like opening up a fresh one on the beach!
